K 2500 Truck 4WD V8-6.6L DSL Turbo VIN 1 (2002)
1. Lightly lubricate the crankshaft balancer internal hub with engine oil.
2. Install the crankshaft balancer on the crankshaft.
3. Lightly lubricate the crankshaft balancer bolt with engine oil.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
4. Install the crankshaft balancer bolt.

Tighten the bolt with plain washer to 363 Nm (278 ft. lbs.).
5. Raise the vehicle.
6. Remove the J44643.
7. Install the starter motor and bolts.

Tighten the starter motor bolts to 78 Nm (58 ft. lbs.).
8. Install the right front fender wheelhouse panel (1).
9. Lower the vehicle.
10. Install the upper and lower fan shroud.
