Fuel Pressure: Specifications

FUEL PRESSURE

WITH ECM

1. Ignition "OFF" for 10 Seconds.
2. With ignition "ON," engine "OFF" and fuel pump running, pressure should be 62-89 kPa (9-13 psi). 

WITH PCM AND 4.3, 5.0, 5.7L ENGINE

1. Ignition "OFF" for 10 Seconds.
2. With ignition "ON," engine "OFF" and fuel pump running, pressure should be 62-90 kPa (9-13 psi). 

For additional testing procedures, 

WITH PCM AND 7.4L ENGINE

1. Ignition "OFF" for 10 Seconds.
2. With ignition "ON," engine "OFF" and fuel pump running, pressure should be 179-220 kPa (26-32 psi).
