Intake Manifold: Service and Repair
Installation
1. Install seals on the cylinder block.
2. Install the gasket onto the cylinder head.
3. Install the lower intake manifold onto the engine block.
4. Coat the lower intake manifold bolts with threadlocking sealant GM P/N 12345382 or equivalent.
5. Install the lower intake manifold bolts.

Tighten the bolts in sequence to 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.).
6. Install the upper intake manifold gaskets.
7. Install the upper intake manifold.
8. Cover a minimum of 8 threads of the upper manifold bolts with threadlocking sealant GM P/N 12345493.
