Front Door Handle Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Use a flat-bladed tool in order to carefully pry the door accessory mounting panel from the door trim panel.

Clip locations are indicated by screwdriver slots in the mounting panel.

2. Remove the switch mounting panel.
3. Disconnect the power accessory electrical connectors from the switches.
4. Remove the screws.
5. Remove the power accessory switches from the panel.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

1. Install the power accessory switch to the panel.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

2. Connect the power accessory electrical connectors to the switches.
3. Snap the switch mounting panel in place.
