K Tahoe 4WD V8-4.8L VIN V (2000)
1. Install the thermostat to the water pump housing.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the bolts.
Tighten the bolts to 15 Nm(11 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the radiator outlet hose. Refer to Radiator Hose Replacement.
4. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System.
5. Install the air inlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement in Powertrain Management.
6. Test the system for leaks. Refer to Cooling System Leak Testing.
