Drive Belt Tensioner: Service and Repair
Drive Belt Tensioner Replacement (Air Conditioning)

Removal Procedure 

1. Remove the air conditioning (A/C) drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement (Accessory) or Drive Belt Replacement (A/C).

2. Remove the A/C drive belt tensioner bolt.
3. Remove the A/C drive belt tensioner.

Installation Procedure 

1. Install the A/C drive belt tensioner.

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the A/C drive belt tensioner bolt.

Tighten the bolts to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.). 

3. Install the A/C drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement (Accessory) or Drive Belt Replacement (A/C).
