K Tahoe 4WD V8-4.8L VIN V (2000)
1. Install the discharge hose assembly to the vehicle.
2. Connect the automatic recirculation electrical connector to the discharge hose.
3. Install the hose to the condenser using new sealing washers.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
4. Install the nut at the condenser.
Tighten
Tighten the nut to 16 N.m (12 lb ft).
5. Install the upper baffle.
6. Install the discharge hose to the compressor using new sealing washers.
7. Install the discharge hose mounting bolt.
Tighten
Tighten the nut to 16 N.m (12 lb ft).
8. Recharge the A/C system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging. See: Fluids/Refrigerant/Service and Repair
9. Inspect the system for leaks. Refer to Leak Testing.See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Testing and Inspection/Component Tests and General
