Traction Control Switch: Service and Repair
Removal Procedure
1. Remove instrument panel (IP) bezel. Refer to Bezel Replacement - IP Cluster in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators.
2. Gently lift the switch retaining tabs (1) and remove the traction assist switch (2) from the instrument panel (IP) assembly (3).
3. Disconnect the harness connector from the traction assist switch.
Installation Procedure
1. Connect the harness connector to the traction assist switch.
2. Install the traction assist switch (2) into the instrument panel (IP) assembly (3), making sure that all of the switch retaining tabs (1) are engaged.
3. Install instrument panel (IP) bezel. Refer to Bezel Replacement - IP Cluster in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators.
