There could be possible interference between the valve stem and valve stem notch in the base Lumina plastic full wheel cover - RPO # PB2. (See Figure
1).

The valve stem notch has been widened to eliminate this potential interference. Vehicles produced after the following VIN have the new design wheel
covers.

To correct this condition on earlier vehicles, remove the material in the valve stem notch as illustrated in Figure 2. The notch is to be widened from 10
mm = (.398370) 3/8 inch to 15 mm - (.59055) 5/8 inch.

IMPORTANT:When opening this notch use care to not scratch the dark gray paint around the notch. Also all edges and corners should be rounded at the

notched areas.
