Control Valve Assembly - View B.

CLEAN AND INSPECT:

-

Control valve assembly thoroughly in clean solvent. Move the valves with a pick or small screwdriver to ensure that any dirt or debris is dislodged.

-

Do not clean solenoids in solvent.

-

Air dry.

DISASSEMBLY

-

Shift solenoids and TCC solenoids are held in place with spring clips (see exploded view). 

-

Position control valve assembly on a clean surface.

-

Remove valve trains beginning with the upper left corner of the valve body.

IMPORTANT:  Some valves are under spring pressure. Cover the end of the bore when removing roll pins.

-

Valves, springs and bushings must be laid out on a clean surface exactly the way they were removed.

CLEAN:

-

All valves, springs, and bushings in solvent, then dry using compressed air.
