If the rotor was removed during caliper service, the inner hub and hub flange must be cleaned before remounting (See Figure 9). To clean the
corrosion build-up on the rotor hub, use the 80 grit sanding disc J-41013 (or equivalent) on an air/electric drill motor.
NOTE:
It is very important that this cleaning process be done any time the rotor is removed from the hub. This is a leading cause of rotor runout which
leads to brake pulsation.

Reinstall caliper - CARE MUST BE TAKEN TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO BOOTS ON KNUCKLE AND/OR ROTOR SURFACES. Push
sleeves all the way back from the pads. Torque bolts to 125 N-m (92 lb.ft.).

Reinstall hydraulic line bracket and bolt.

Check park brake cable operation.

Reinstall wheels and tires - USE TORQUE STICK J39544-15. (See Figure 10). WITH THE LAST PUBLICATION OF THIS BULLETIN, ALL
DEALERS HAVE AT LEAST THE PROPER TORQUE STICK TO SERVICE W-CAR WHEEL NUTS.
