Generator Mounting

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

1.  Air cleaner assembly.
2.  Negative battery cable.
3.  Coolant recovery reservoir and set aside.
4.  Serpentine belt.
5.  Power steering pipe retaining clip nut from upper generator stud and remove generator stud.
6.  Raise vehicle and suitably support.
7.  Right front tire and wheel assembly.
8.  Right-hand engine splash shield.
9.  Connectors and wires from generator.

10.  Pencil brace bolt from generator and loosen brace at engine block.
11.  Separate lower ball joint from lower control arm.
12.  Drive axle from transaxle.
13.  Outboard drive axle splash shield.
14.  Inboard drive axle splash shield fastener and engine rear support bracket (splash shield will come off with bracket).
