Chart C-8B Wiring Diagram

TEST DESCRIPTION:  Numbers below refer to circled numbers on the diagnostic chart.

1.

If there are any codes present, those codes must be repaired first. The 4T60-E transaxle will default to 3rd gear if codes 21, 22, 24, 53, and 55 are
present. 

2.

Checks the first gear switch status.

3.

Verifies first gear switch status change.

4.

Checks the fourth gear switch status.

5.

If thew 10 amp fuse for the the shift solenoid is blown, repair as necessary and replace fuse and recheck system.

6.

This tests the circuits from the TCC to the ECM.
