3. If reinstalling the original PNP switch, adjust PNP switch (refer to Adjustment procedure). New replacement PNP switches are already pinned in
the Neutral position.
4. Electrical connectors
5. Linkage cable onto manual shaft.
6. Nut securing linkage cable to manual valve.
ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE
1. Place the transaxle shift lever in the Neutral position.
2. Remove nut securing linkage cable to transaxle manual shaft.
3. Remove linkage cable from manual shaft.
4. Loosen the two PNP switch attaching bolts.
5. Place tool J 41545 onto manual shaft so that slots on the manual shaft engage the tool.
6. Rotate the PNP switch on the manual shaft to align the adjustment slot on the switch with the leg on the tool.
Tighten
Bolts to 28 Nm (20 lb. ft).
7. Remove tool J 41545.
8. Install linkage cable to manual shaft.
9. Install nut securing linkage cable to transaxle manual shaft.
