Lumina V6-3.1L VIN J (2000)
Important: Do not scratch the body paint with horizontal studs on the bumper fascia.
1. Position the rear bumper fascia (3) to the rear impact bar and the body.
2. Install the rear bumper fascia upper push-in retainers (2).
3. Install the nuts to the rear bumper fascia reinforcement. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Reinforcement Replacement (See: Rear Bumper Fascia
Reinforcement Replacement) .
4. Install the rear bumper fascia push-in retainers (1) to the rear impact bar.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
5. Install the bolts (4) to the upper edge of the rear bumper fascia to the quarter panel.
Tighten the rear impact bar bolts (4) to 6 N.m (53 lb in).
