Rear Energy Absorber Replacement
Removal Procedure
Tools Required
J 38778 Door Trim Pad and Garnish Clip Remover
1. Remove the rear bumper fascia. Refer toRear Bumper Fascia Replacement (See: Rear Bumper Cover / Fascia/Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the push-in retainers from the rear energy absorber using the J 38778 .
3. Remove the rear energy absorber from the rear impact bar (1).
