Door Striker Replacement

Removal Procedure

Each lock striker is a dual-pin type attached to an anchor plate in the body lock pillar. The door is held in the closed position when the lock snaps over
and engages the striker.

1. Mark the position of the striker (5).
2. Remove the striker screws (4).
3. Remove the striker (5).
4. Remove the spacers (6) as needed.
5. Remove the washer (3).

Installation Procedure 

1. Install the washer (3).
2. Install the spacers (6) as needed.
3. Install the striker (5) to the marked location.

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice  in Cautions and Notices.

4. Install the striker screws (4).
