2. Remove the carpet retaining screws.
3. Remove the seat belt from the slot in the lower trim panel.
4. Remove the trim panel.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the seat belt to the slot in the lower trim panel.

2. Install the lower trim panel to the B-pillar.

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice  in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the carpet retaining screws.

Tighten the carpet retainer screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

4. Install the front carpet retainer. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement  (See: Carpet/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Carpet

Removal Procedure

1. Open the seat belt upper guide loop attachment cover.
2. Remove the seat belt guide loop attachment nut.
3. Remove the seat belt guide loop (1) attachment from the adjuster bracket.

4. Pull on the trim panel to disengage the hook and loop fastners.
