1. Disengage the retaining tabs and the clips by pulling and using a rocking motion.
2. Remove the molding.

Installation Procedure

1. Position the garnish molding to the windshield pillar.
2. Push to engage the retaining tabs and the clips.

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement  (See: Seats/Seat Back/Service and Repair/Rear Seat Back Replacement) .
2. Open the rear compartment.
3. Remove the rear compartment mat.
4. Remove the spare tire cover.
5. Remove the spare tire.
6. Remove the rear compartment trim panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement  (See: Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement

) .

7. Fold each side of the trim panel toward the center of the car.
