Installation Procedure

1. Position the front seat cushion (1) to the seat frame.
2. Install the J-retainers.
3. Install the push-in retainers.

4. Connect the swing wire (2) into the hole at the front of the outboard frame side.

Install the swing wire.

5. Install the recliner lever to the seat.

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice  in Cautions and Notices.

6. Install the recliner tilt handle screws.

Install the retainers (1) (left front, AM6).

Tighten the recliner tilt handle screws to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

7. Install the finish panels. Refer to Front Seat Trim Panel Replacement  (See: Service and Repair/Front Seat Trim Panel Replacement) .
8. Install the armrest (left front, AM6). Refer to Front Seat Armrest Replacement  (See: Service and Repair/Front Seat Armrest Replacement) .
9. Install the front seat. Refer to Seat Replacement  (See: Service and Repair/Seat Replacement) .
