3. Seat the entire length of the sealing strip.
4. Ensure proper engagement of the sealing strip on the weld flange by using a rubber mallet.
5. Install the door inner trim panel. Refer toFront Side Door Trim Panel Replacement See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Front Door

6. Raise the window.
Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement
Outer Belt Sealing Strip Replacement (Front Door)
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the outside rearview mirror if necessary. Refer to Manual Mirror Replacement (See: Mirrors/Service and Repair/Manual Mirror
Replacement) .
2. Remove the front door outer belt sealing strip machine screw.
3. Remove the front door outer belt sealing strip from the flange.
Installation Procedure
1. Press the front door outer belt sealing strip onto the flange.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
Important: Align the strip properly to the door inner panel for screw installation.
2. Install the outer belt sealing strip machine screw.
Tighten the outer belt sealing strip screw to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
3. Install the outside rearview mirror if necessary. Refer to Manual Mirror Replacement (See: Mirrors/Service and Repair/Manual Mirror
Replacement) .
