Oil Level Sensor For ECM: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to Vehicle Lifting Caution in Cautions and Notices.

1. Raise the vehicle.
2. Drain the engine oil.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the Engine Oil Level Switch (1).
4. Remove the Engine Oil Level Switch from the oil pan.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the Engine Oil Level Switch.

Tighten
Tighten the switch to 17-27 Nm (13-20 lb ft).

2. Connect the electrical connector (1).
3. Lower the vehicle.
4. Add engine oil to the correct level.
