Backup Lamp: Description and Operation
Voltage is applied continuously through the R/CMPT REL fuse in the engine wiring harness junction block 1 to the park/neutral position switch through
circuit 840. Voltage is applied through the closed contacts of the transaxle range switch to the right and left backup lamps through circuit 24, when the
transaxle is shifted into REVERSE. The backup lamps are grounded through circuit 350 to G302.
The backup lamps are located in the rear compartment lid applique. The back-up lamps operate when the ignition switch is in the RUN position and the
transaxle range selector lever is in REVERSE.
