Seat Belt: Service and Repair
Seat Belt Replacement - Center Rear

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Remove the rear seat cushion.

2. Remove the center and inboard buckle belt nuts (2).
3. Remove the center and inboard buckle belts (1) from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install the center and inboard buckle belts (1) to the vehicle.

IMPORTANT:  Verify that the seat belt anchors are installed with the proper orientation.

NOTE:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the center and inboard buckle belt nuts (2).

Tighten
Tighten the center and inboard buckle belt nuts to 42 N.m (31 lb ft).

IMPORTANT:  Verify that the buckle is properly routed through the rear seat cushion.

3. Install the rear seat cushion.
