Seat Belt Guide Track: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Open the upper seat belt guide loop plastic cover.

2. Remove the upper seat belt guide loop nut.
3. Remove the center pillar (1) upper trim panel.
4. Remove the shoulder belt guide loop adjuster bolts(2).
5. Remove the shoulder seat belt guide loop adjuster bracket(3) from the vehicle

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT:  Verify that the release lever at the top of the bracket is in the FULL-UP position.

1. Install the shoulder belt guide loop adjuster bracket (3) to the vehicle.

NOTE:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the shoulder belt guide loop adjuster bolts (2).

Tighten
Tighten the shoulder belt guide loop adjuster bolts to 42 N.m (31 lb ft).

3. Install the center pillar (1) upper trim panel.
4. Install the upper seat belt guide loop nut.

Tighten
Tighten the upper seat belt guide loop nut to 42 N.m (31 lb ft).

5. Close the upper seat belt guide loop plastic cover.
