Brake Fluid Level Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair

Removal Procedure

1. Disconnect the electrical connector from the fluid level sensor (1).

2. Remove the fluid level sensor using needle nose pliers. This action compresses the switch locking tabs (1) at the inboard side of the master

cylinder.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the fluid level sensor (1) until the locking tabs snap into place.
2. Connect the electrical connector to the fluid level sensor.
