Parking Brake Warning Switch: Service and Repair
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the left side IP insulator panel. Refer to Insulator Replacement - IP (Left) in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators.
2. Remove the left carpet retainer. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the park brake warning switch (1).
4. Remove the switch mounting screw.
5. Remove the switch.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the switch.
2. Install the switch mounting screw.
3. Connect the electrical connector to the switch (1).
4. Install the left carpet retainer. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement.
5. Install the left side IP insulator panel. Refer to Insulator Replacement - IP (Left) in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators.
