Lumina V6-3.8L VIN K (1998)
1. If replacing the drive belt tensioner, install the heater water bypass inlet pipe and seal.
2. Install the drive belt tensioner.
3. Install the drive belt tensioner bolts.

Tighten the drive belt tensioner bolts to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
4. Connect the heater hose adapters with heater hoses to the drive belt tensioner. Refer to Heating and Air Conditioning.
5. Install the generator. Refer to Generator Replacement (3800 L36 (VIN K)) in Starting and Charging.
6. Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement.
7. Fill the cooling system with engine coolant. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System in Cooling System.
8. Connect the battery ground (negative) cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect in Starting and Charging.
