Engine Torque Strut: Service and Repair
Engine Mount Strut Bracket Replacement (Left Side, Engine)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE 

1. Drain the engine coolant from the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System in Cooling System.
2. Remove the engine coolant temperature sensor. Refer to Powertrain Management.
3. Remove the radiator support clamp from the engine mount strut bolt.

4. Remove the engine mount strut at the left engine mount strut bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Strut Replacement (Left).

5. Remove the engine mount strut bracket bolts.
6. Remove the engine mount strut bracket,

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE 

1. Install the engine mount strut bracket to the head.
2. Install the engine mount strut bracket bolts.

Tighten the engine mount strut bracket bolts to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
