15. Remove the right (rear) exhaust manifold bolts and nuts.
16. Remove the right (rear) exhaust manifold.
17. Remove the right (rear) exhaust manifold gasket.
18. If replacing the right (rear) exhaust manifold, remove the Heated Oxygen Sensor (H02S) from the right (rear) exhaust manifold. Refer to
Powertrain Management.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. If removed, install the heated oxygen sensor (H02S) to the right (rear) exhaust manifold. Refer to Powertrain Management.
IMPORTANT: Whenever the EGR pipe is removed from the right (rear) exhaust manifold, the outlet pipe should be inspected for leaks during
installation. If leaks are present, replace the EGR adapter.
