Seat Belt Guide Track: Service and Repair
Installation Procedure

Description

Important:  Verify that the release lever at the top of the bracket is in the FULL-UP position.

1. Install the shoulder belt guide loop adjuster bracket (3) to the vehicle.

NOTICE:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Use the J 29843-9 in order to install the shoulder belt guide loop adjuster bolts (2). 

Tighten
Tighten the shoulder belt guide loop adjuster bolts to 42 N.m (31 lb ft).

3. Install the center pillar (1) upper trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel in Doors.
4. Install the upper seat belt guide loop nut. 

Tighten
Tighten the upper seat belt guide loop nut to 42 N.m (31 lb ft).

5. Close the upper seat belt guide loop plastic cover.
