J 29843-9 Door Lock Striker and Seat Belt Torx(R) Wrench
Important: The front passenger seat retractor is a dual-mode type retractor with emergency locking and automatic locking features. The automatic
locking feature is for use with a forward-facing child seat. For further information, refer to the owner's manual.
Description
1. Remove the rear seat cushion and the seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back in Seats and Carpet.
2. Remove the rear window trim panel. Refer to Rear Window Trim Panel in Body Rear End.
3. Open the plastic cover (1) of the upper seat belt guide loop.
4. Use the J 29843-9 in order to remove the upper seat belt guide loop bolt (3).
5. Remove the upper seat belt guide loop (2) from the quarter upper trim panel (6).
6. Remove the coat hook. Refer to Coat Hook in Roof.
7. Remove the quarter upper trim finish panel. Refer to Quarter Upper Trim in Rear Quarters.
8. Remove the quarter lower trim finish panel. Refer to Quarter Lower Trim in Rear Quarters.
Description
9. Remove the seat belt (2) from the seat belt guide (1) through the slit in the guide.
