NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the generator brace bolt through the generator rear brace to the generator. CS130D generator only.
3. Install the generator bolt through the generator and into the generator rear brace. CS144 generator only.
4. Install the generator brace bracket bolts through the generator rear brace and into the generator brace bracket.
5. Tighten the generator brace bolt. CS13OD generator only.

Tighten
Tighten the generator brace bolt to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).

6. Tighten the generator bolt. CS144 generator only.

Tighten
Tighten the generator bolt to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

7. Tighten the generator brace bracket bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the generator brace bracket bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

8. Install the drive belt to the generator.
9. Install the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair. 

Front Brace

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Remove the drive belt from the generator.
2. Remove the generator front brace nuts.
3. Remove the generator front brace from the engine.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install the generator front brace to the engine.
