REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

TOOL REQUIRED:

J 39232 Wiper Transmission Separator

1. Wiper drive system module from vehicle.
2. Wiper motor crank arm (29) from wiper transmission assembly (13) using J 39232.
3. Nut (30) and wiper motor crank arm (29) from wiper motor assembly (23).
4. Three screws (31), bracket (32), and wiper motor assembly (23) from tube frame (33).
5. Cover (34) from wiper motor assembly (23).

INSTALL OR CONNECT

TOOL REQUIRED:

J 39529 Wiper Transmission Installer

NOTE: Refer to the Fastener Notice in General Information.

1. Cover (34) on wiper motor assembly (23).
2. Wiper motor assembly (23) and bracket (32) on tube frame (33) with three screws (31).

Tighten

Three screws to 12 N.m (106 lb. in.).

3. Wiper motor crank arm (29) on wiper motor assembly (23) with nut (30).

Tighten
^

Nut to 25 N.m (18 lb. ft.).

4. Wiper transmission assembly (13) on wiper motor crank arm (29) using J 39529.
