Throttle Cable/Linkage: Service and Repair

Throttle Cable Routing

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

1. Lower instrument panel trim attaching screws, retaining clip and lower instrument panel trim.
2. Accelerator cable from accelerator pedal.
3. Squeeze accelerator cable cover tangs and push cable through dash panel (bulkhead).
4. Accelerator cable from restraints.
5. Accelerator cable retainer and accelerator cable from throttle body lever.
6. Accelerator cable from accelerator cable bracket.
