Lumina APV V6-191 3.1L VIN D TBI (1995)
Radiator: Service and Repair
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Drain engine coolant, then remove engine forward strut bracket and swing rearward.
3. Disconnect forward lamp harness from fan frame and unplug fan connector.
4. Remove fan assembly.
5. Scribe location for reinstallation, then remove hood latch.
6. Disconnect coolant hoses from radiator and coolant recovery tank.
7. Disconnect transmission cooler lines.
8. Remove radiator mounting bolts and radiator.
9. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Tighten radiator mounting bolts, transmission cooler lines, fan assembly mounting bolts, engine strut bolts, radiator hose clamps and hood
latch mounting bolts to specifications.
b. Refill and check all fluid levels.
c. Check all fluid connections for leakage.
