Malibu L4-144 2.4L DOHC VIN T SFI (1998)
1. Loosely install the strut to knuckle bolts (5).
Important: Align the scribe marks to ensure proper alignment.
2. Install the strut to body bolts (3) inside the fender well.
3. Install the strut mount-to-body nuts (1) in the trunk area.
4. Install strut to knuckle bolts (3).
Tighten

Tighten nuts to 120 N.m (89 lb ft).
5. Install the tire and wheel. Refer to Wheel Installation.
6. Lower the vehicle.
7. Check alignment. Refer to Measuring Wheel Alignment (Rear).
