Front Seat Back Trim Panel "Falling Off"/Loose/Detached from Seat Frame (Install New Retainer)

Models:
2004-2005 Chevrolet Malibu, Maxx

Built BETWEEN VIN Breakpoints 4F247828 and SF168732

Condition

Some customers may comment that the driver/passenger front seat back trim panel has "fallen off", is loose or has become detached from the seat frame.

Cause

This condition may be due to the seat back trim panel not being properly attached to the seat frame.

Correction

Replace the four existing seat back panel retainers with PIN 15226958.
