Caution:  Refer to Fastener Caution   (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).

1. Install the generator.

Tighten the bolts to 50 Nm (37 lb ft).

Tighten the nuts to 30 Nm (22 lb ft).

2. Install the generator electrical connections.
3. Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement   (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and

Accessories/Drive Belt/Service and Repair).

4. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection   (See: Battery/Battery Cable/Negative/Service

and Repair/Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection).
