Chevrolet Malibu L4-24L Automatic Transmission Seals and Gaskets Service and Repair
7. Install two NEW snap rings on the stub shaft.
8. Apply grease to the output shaft splines.
Note: J 41102-1A must be used in order to install the axle seal to the correct depth.
9. Install a NEW seal (1). Use the J 41102-1A (3) with J 8092 (2). Lubricate the seal lip with transmission fluid.
