Oil Filter Adapter: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Raise the vehicle. Support the vehicle.
2. Remove the oil filter.
3. Remove the bolt.
4. Remove the seal.
5. Remove the adapter.
6. Clean the gasket from the mating surfaces.
INSTALLATION
1. Install the gasket.
2. Install the adapter.
3. Install the seal.
4. Install the bolt. Tighten the bolt to 39 Nm (29 ft. lbs.).
5. Install the oil filter.
6. Lower the vehicle.
7. Inspect the oil level.
8. Fill the oil to the proper level.
