Heater And A/C Module - Top View
The vacuum actuators are located under the instrument panel and attached to the HVAC module.
Remove or Disconnect
1. Negative battery cable.
2. LH sound insulator.
3. Vacuum hoses from actuator.
4. Unclip actuator body from module.
5. Actuator rod from mode valve (use 7mm deep socket to compress tangs).
6. Actuator from the vehicle.
Install or Connect
1. Vacuum actuator from below.
2. Vacuum hoses to actuator.
3. Actuator rod to mode valve.
4. LH sound insulator.
5. Negative battery cable.
Tighten
^
Bolt to 16 N.m (12 lb ft).
