Brake Light Switch: Service and Repair
Stop Indicator Switch
REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Passenger side sound insulator.
2. Electrical connection from brake switch.
3. Brake switch from retainer by turning counter clockwise 45°, then pulling toward rear of vehicle.
INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Insert stop indicator switch into retainer until switch bottoms out against brake pedal and switch actuator is fully depressed.
2. Snap brake switch into retainer by turning clockwise 45° until a click is heard.
3. Electrical connection to brake switch.
4. Passenger side sound insulator.
