Heater Hose: Service and Repair
Heater Hose Replacement - Inlet
TOOLS REQUIRED
J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Drain the engine coolant. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System Cooling System.
2. Use J 38185 to reposition the inlet heater hose clamp from the quick-connect fitting.
3. Disconnect the inlet heater hose (1) from the quick-connect fitting.
4. Use J 38185 to reposition the inlet heater hose clamp from the heater core.
5. Disconnect the inlet heater hose from the heater core.
6. Remove the inlet heater hose.
