Malibu V6-3.6L (2010)
1. Lubricate the intake manifold tuning valve O-ring seal with clean engine oil.
2. Install the intake manifold tuning valve.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
3. Install the intake manifold tuning valve bolts and tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb in.
4. Position the power steering pump reservoir bracket and install the bolts and tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb in).
5. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) to the intake manifold tuning valve.
6. Install the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement (See: Fuel Injector/Service and Repair/Fuel Injector Sight
Shield Replacement).
