1. Install the crankshaft position sensor.

Caution:  Refer to Fastener Caution   (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).

2. Install the crankshaft position sensor bolt and tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

3. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (2) to the CKP sensor.
4. Install the exhaust manifold lower heat shield. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Lower Heat Shield Replacement   (See: Engine, Cooling and

Exhaust/Exhaust System/Heat Shield/Service and Repair/Exhaust Manifold Lower Heat Shield Replacement).

5. Perform the Crankshaft Position System Variation Learn procedure. Refer to Crankshaft Position System Variation Learn   (See: Testing and

Inspection).
