7. Remove the power steering gear inlet/outlet pipe retaining bolt (1), disconnect the inlet pipe (2) and outlet pipe (4) from the steering gear (3).
8. Remove the power steering gear outlet pipe from the vehicle.
9. Extract the power steering gear oil seal (1) from the power steering gear using the J 44586 (2) with the aid of a flat-bladed tool (3) for additional
leverage.
