Brake Caliper Replacement
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Siphon two-thirds of the fluid from the master cylinder reservoir.
2. Raise the vehicle. Support the vehicle.
3. Remove the tire and wheel assembly.
4. Remove the brake hose union bolt (2). Place a container beneath the hose to catch escaping fluid. Discard the union fitting washers.
5. Remove two caliper mounting bolts.
6. Remove the caliper from the caliper carrier.
7. Inspect the following parts for corrosion and wear:
^ Mounting bolts
^ Slide caliper pins
^ Dust boots
Replace any part that exhibits such conditions.
