12. Install the lower generator cover plate (2).

Tighten the lower generator cover bolts to 10 Nm (89 ft. lbs.). 

13. Install the A/C compressor drive belt (if so equipped) by releasing the tensioner pulley and installing the belt to the crankshaft and compressor

pulleys. 

14. Install the right lower splash shield. 
15. Lower the vehicle.

Tighten the water pump pulley mounting bolts to 24 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).

16. Adjust the water pump/generator drive belt tension to 98 Nm (22 lbs.), or 6 to 8 mm (0.25 0.32 inch) deflection.

Tighten the upper generator adjustment bolt to 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.) 

17. Install the A/C compressor suction pipe bracket (if equipped). 
18. Install the air cleaner assembly to the vehicle. 
19. Refill the engine cooling system.  
20. Connect the negative battery cable.
