Fuel Tank Pressure Control Valve Replacement
Removal Procedure
Notice: The EVAP canister may have released carbon particles which caused this part to fail and may cause damage to other components. Check the
EVAP canister for loose carbon before returning the vehicle to service.
1. Loosen the two clamps on the two fuel tank pressure control valve vapor hoses (1).
2. Disconnect the two fuel vapor hoses (1) from the fuel tank pressure control valve.
3. Disconnect the one vacuum hose (2) from the fuel tank pressure control valve.
4. Remove the fuel tank pressure control valve from the engine compartment.
Installation Procedure
1. Connect the two fuel vapor hoses (1) to the fuel tank pressure control valve.
2. Secure the two fuel vapor hoses with the two clamps.
3. Connect the one vacuum hose (2) to the fuel tank pressure control valve.
